We are very saddened by the loss of our member, Scott Harris, who passed away on Tuesday, January 30th, 2024. Scott joined our club in October 2016 and was involved in many of our fundraising and service projects. He was a dedicated volunteer who was always willing to help a hand and jump right in. As a scholarship committee chairman for many years, he provided insight on how to best recognize the students we selected for the scholarships. He was a regular volunteer for the OKC breakfasts, Hymers, and bunwiches. His smile was infectious, and he had a heart of gold. He will be missed by his family, friends, and club members who knew and volunteered with him.
Kiwanis Club of Westfort volunteers are always happy to support Ogden Community School K-Kid projects. The K-Kids a great job of developing the garden in the spring. Now itโs to weatherproof the sign with some sealer. Thanks to Shawn and Charlene van Someren at Dulux Decorating Centre for donating the sealant. We couldnโt do what we do without community partners. ๐บโจ Some of our Kiwanis Club of Westfort members had a blast at the Retro Bingo Night last Friday! ๐ The event celebrated the amazing volunteers from the agencies supported by Superior Shores Gaming Association โ and it was such a groovy time!
Funds raised through our volunteer efforts at Superior Shores Bingos help us support programs for children and youth right here in our community. ๐
Thank you, Superior Shores, for an unforgettable night and all you do to help us make a difference! ๐
