Volunteer HEART Award – Back for year #2
This award recognizes community VOLUNTEERS who positively contribute to the development and growth of children and youth through participation in visual arts, music, dance, drama/theatre, cultural art, recreational and competitive sports, lessons, drop-in programs and clubs. Last year, the inauguralΒ awards were presented to Kathy Peterson (Thunder Bay Thunderbolts) and Bill Graham (YBC Bowling). Two award recipients will each receiveΒ a $450 grant for their organization.
This year, the award has been divided into two categories; one for volunteers who have been giving back for less than 15 years and one for those who are long-standing at 15 years or more of service. Let us know who you want to nominate by July 30, 2026 by completing the nomination form you can find here:Β
