Volunteer HEART Award – Back for year #2
This award recognizes community VOLUNTEERS who positively contribute to the development and growth of children and youth through participation in visual arts, music, dance, drama/theatre, cultural art, recreational and competitive sports, lessons, drop-in programs and clubs. Last year, the inaugural awards were presented to Kathy Peterson (Thunder Bay Thunderbolts) and Bill Graham (YBC Bowling). Two award recipients will each receive a $450 grant for their organization.
This year, the award has been divided into two categories; one for volunteers who have been giving back for less than 15 years and one for those who are long-standing at 15 years or more of service. Let us know who you want to nominate by July 30, 2026 by completing the nomination form you can find here:

We’re enjoying the opportunity to network, learn new ideas, share experiences, and connect with fellow Kiwanians from across Western Canada. We’re bringing home plenty of inspiration and new ideas that we can use to continue making a positive difference in our community. 💙 President Robin and Gladys accepted our Distinguished Club Award.
